Understanding the Context
DMIs marine kerneomrøder er stormflodsvarsling, iskortlægning, bølger, havstrømme, havovervågning fra satellit, havets klima og marine data. Satellitbilleder Satellitbilleder fra områder langs Grønlands kyster. Billederne opdateres flere gange dagligt. Satellitbillederne leveres af Universitetet i Dundee, Skotland (de grønne billeder) og af NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

DMI is located right next to the S-train station Ryparken, and is easily vissible as a red brick building south east of the station. S-train lines Bx and A runs through center of Copenhagen (stations Hovedbanegården (=Copenhagen central station), Vesterport, Nørreport, and Østerport) and passes Ryparken on the way north.
